Who we are
Totembird (founded in 2002) is based in Peterborough Cambridgshire, and is comprised of a small team of very experienced IT professionals. We aim to use our combined skills and experience to ensure that we provide high quality IT solutions and advice to our customers. We have extensive commercial experience combined with a pragmatic approach geared towards getting things done. We also understand the cost pressures of being in business and we aim to ensure that we always provide value for money.All our staff are UK based, mostly in the East of England. All have had exposure to projects large and small. Most have been software developers at some point in their career. All are passionate about what we do and we pride ourselves on our commitment to doing a good job.
What we do
We have many strings to our bow!We have developed a web based application for Tour Operators which is marketed under the name Total Resort. This is now in its 8th season of use. This provides Tour Operators inbound Agents with all the tools needed to contract and sell products in multiple countries and resorts. Totembird both designed and developed the application which now numbers more than 250 screens and 200 plus database tables. Each year sales of more than 10 million Euros are recorded in Total Resort.
We undertake requirements gathering, business analysis and system design as well as the development of bespoke business applications. Typically, these are web based (.net or Java) and are either supported and hosted by ourselves or handed over on completion to the customer to support. We have also developed a number of mobile based applications.
We also provide IT consultancy to large and small organisations. In the past we have provided consultancy for IT Strategy development, Legacy application migration planning, Web Portal development, e-commerce applications as well as specific issues regarding application compliance (PCI compliance for example).
